For The Old Forge Tea Rooms, a charming spot in a former 19th-century ironworks at the head of Pocklington Canal, we were asked to design a brand identity and website that captured both the rich heritage of the building and its picturesque surroundings.

As a popular stop for walkers, cyclists, and tourists, it was important that our design reflected the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere Ryan and Kirsty have created, as well as their love for serving simple, delicious food.

Our branding strategy not only embraced the history of the location but also highlighted its connection to outdoor activities. Given the tea rooms' proximity to the Way of the Roses coast-to-coast cycle route, we tailored the marketing to appeal to walking and cycling groups exploring the East Riding area.

The Old Forge Business Card Design

The website we designed became a key tool for reaching both locals and tourists, balancing the tea rooms’ heritage with a fresh, approachable look to attract a broader audience.
