Based in Walmgate York, The National Centre for Early Music (NCEM) is an educational music charity based in a beautiful medieval converted church in the centre of York. The church was restored and converted into the NCEM way back in the year 2000. Since then, the NCEM has built a reputation for delivering a quality experience as a venue for music and creative learning, hosting early, folk, jazz, digital and contemporary music concerts.
